Gardening has always been part of my life. Some of my best memories from growing up in western Missouri are of: tending a home vegetable and flower garden; swinging in the hammock near my grandmother’s old farmhouse; and watching hummingbirds flittering among the trumpeter vines that grew around telephone lines and up into the trees. My love and appreciation for nature and gardening has stayed with me throughout my life.
After completing college, I began creating my own vegetable and flower gardens. For over 25 years, I raised chickens and cattle on a 120-acre farm. During that time, I also began designing and cultivating organic vegetable and flower gardens. That was the beginning of my passion—to bring serene and beautiful garden spaces to others!
In order to provide you with beautiful garden spaces, I draw on my inspiration from having lived in Denmark in a charming home nestled in an English-style Cottage Garden when I was a young man.
